Locking assembly for circuit-breaker opening and closure. This invention relates to a high ampere rating circuit- breaker that meets the requirements of the world market electrical code. The closure springs controlling the closed state and the opening springs controlling the open state of the circuit-breaker's contacts are locked to prevent the operation of both springs at the same time. The closure lever and the opening lever interact in such a way that only one of the levers can release the associated closing or opening springs. <IMAGE>
