The invention concerns a method and a device for treating aqueous fluid industrial sewage of all types comprising the following steps: a first step of mixing in a vessel (4), a second step of treating said mixture using a device for electrolytic treatment by electro-flotation and/or electro-coagulation-flocculation (5) also comprising the separation of the polluting elements from the liquid phase, said polluting elements being then dried in a filter-press (6). The invention is characterised in that: previous to mixing, the effluents are stored in several storage vessels, i.e. one per type of effluent, mixing at least an effluent in the form of an emulsion with an effluent in the form of a true solution.
