PLANT FOR CENTRIFUGAL CASTING OF MOLDS

FIELD: centrifugal casting of molds; may be used in casting of articles from nonferrous and noble metals. SUBSTANCE: plant includes supporting posts with horizontally installed shaft. Made on shaft is bearing area oriented along shaft axis. Installed on bearing area is melting-casting unit. Secured in plane perpendicular to shaft axis are two fastening vertical posts. Melting-casting unit consists of electrically heated crucible and mold communicated with crucible. Covers of mold and crucible are secured to fastening posts for axial motion. Attached to shaft is rod with counterweight. Height of positioning of counterweight is regulated depending on weight of charge in crucible and weight of mold. Secured to supporting posts is protective screen made in the form of curved plate. EFFECT: reduced plant dimensions, higher safety and reliability of the plant. 2 dwgh
