FIELD: control of resistance spot welding practice. SUBSTANCE: tester consists of two units: force unit and current one which are connected to processing-control device whose output is connected with display. Force unit includes successively connected force cell, preamplifier and final amplifier. Current unit has connected successively current pickup, integrator and amplifier. Outputs of processing-control device are connected with inputs of integrator control and compensation, inputs of control of final amplifier and amplifier, and with input of compensation of preamplifier. Tester is additionally provided with connected successively storage battery, switch gear and voltage converter. The tester allows measurement of static electrode force and parameters of welding current within a wide range (static electrode force from 100 to 2000 kgf with error within 5% and current from 2 to 250 kA with error within 2.5%). In addition, the tester allows measurement of weld interval within 1 to 2000 ms. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwgn
