<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth animation effect by compensating the changing of a circular arc length in movement when an object moves along a route. SOLUTION: A programmable system (computer) 10 has a processor 20, a random access memory(RAM) 21, a program memory (ROM) 22, a hard disk controller 23, a video controller 31 and an input/output (I/O) controller 24 connected through a CPU bus 25. A parameter function expressing animation feature in an animation system in which the parameter function is expressed by a curve with a circular arc length which is not equal per a unit parameter is given re-parameter-making. Sampling is executed by each prescribed intervals of the parameter along the length of this curve and next a circular arc length across each interval is calculated. After then at least one differentiating possible curve is applied to a pair of a parameter and a circular arc length.</p> |
