PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrationproof rubber compsn. and a rubber compsn. for sealant both low in hardness and excellent in compression set, vibrationproof properties, low-temp. properties, etc. SOLUTION: Both compsns. contain copolymer A and/or copolymer B and a vulcanizing/cross-linking agent. The copolymer A is an ethylene/6-12Cα-olefin/ nonconjugated polyene random copolymer having a molar ratio of ethylene units to 6-12Cα-olefin units of (80/20)-(55/45), an iodine value of 8-40, a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100 deg.C) of 5-350, and a ratio of Mw (wt. average mol.wt.) to Mn (number average mol.wt.) of 20-15. The copolymer B is an ethylene/ propylene/6-12Cα-olefin/nonconjugated polyene random copolymer having a molar ratio of ethylene units to propylene units of (99/1)-(50/50), a molar ratio of ethylene units to the sum of propylene units and 6-12Cα-olefin units of (80/20)-(55/45), an iodine value of 8-40, a Mooney viscosity of 5-350, and a ratio of Mw/Mn of 2-15.
