PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent properties of being hard to stain, printing performance and printing plate wear resistance by setting a ratio of specific inclining degree of a surface inclining degree distribution in the case of measuring it at specific revolving power by an interatomic force microscope(AFM) to a specific value. SOLUTION: A ratio of 45 degrees of inclining degree of a surface inclining degree obtained at a revolving power of 0.1μm by an interatomic force microscope(AFM) is preferably 5 to 50% or preferably 10 to 30%. When it is less than 5%, a halftone non-image part is easily contaminated. When it is more than 50%, a non-image part on a blanket is easily contaminated. In this case, a support for a lithographic printing plate having undulations by roughing a surface of the support is preferably grains obtained by superposing large waves at a mean pitch of 5 to 30μm and intermediate waves at a pitch of 0.5 to 3μm of mean diameter in the undulations.
