FIELD: initiation of blasts. SUBSTANCE: case 2 accommodates main high-explosive charge 11 and cap 3. Cap 3 accommodates primary charge 8 with duct 9 filled with igniting compound 7. Igniting compound 7 on one side interacts with retarding agent 5 with recess 6, and on the other side with intermediate charge 10. The relation between the length of charges 10 and 11 and the case inside diameter equals 3 to 5. The top of recess 6 is distant from the cap base at a distance of 0.1 to 0.5 mm. The case may accommodate inert material with an axial duct. EFFECT: enhanced initiation ability of detonator and enhanced safety of it. 5 cl, 3 dwg.
