FIELD: repair of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: banding device includes detachable cylindrical packer 4, envelope 5 with cavity 6, bandage with chemical composition 7, cord fabric 8 and heating element 9. Mounted in cavity are: pressure sensor 10 and temperature sensor 11. Pressure accumulator 12 is arranged inside housing of packer 4. Device is also provided with TV camera 3. Device is brought to defective section of pipe and pressure from pressure accumulator 12 is fed to cavity 6. Envelope 5 presses chemical composition 7 to pipe line closing defective section. Heating element 9 is switched-on for period of time sufficient for adhesion of composition 7 to pipe line. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwgp
