FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: facility for forming of surface, oval in cross-section of piston 7 is made as cylinder 1 and manufacturing piston 4, with power-transmission screw 5 turned into it, arranged in cylinder 1. After the facility is positioned between bosses 8 and 9 for piston pin 7 power-transmission screw 5 is turned into manufacturing piston 4. Cylinder 1 and manufacturing piston 4 act upon bosses 8 and 9 of piston 7, respectively, and deform it in height as a result of which piston oval form is obtained. Piston 7 is working. Facility for forming of oval surface is removed, and piston 7 acquires ovalness variable in height due to flexibility forces. EFFECT: compact and simple design. 1 dwgr
