PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a foamed fiber that has a round section as obtained by a traditional method for producing fibers of larger denier without feeling of sticky touch to the skin, or an irregular section and more excellent touch than that of conventional fibers of irregular sections, and a method for producing the foamed fibers. SOLUTION: This foamed fiber, which is composed of a foamed resin part 1 and unfoamed fiber part 3, is produced by conjugate spinning of a fiber material that can form the foamed part, and another fiber material that forms the unfoamed part, and then foaming the fiber material that forms the foamed resin part 1 of the spun fiber. |
