PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a three dimensional image display device which is easy to manufacture and is able to display a clean three dimensional spatial image under easy observation condition. SOLUTION: This device forms a spatial image 40 corresponding to an original image by a lens array 10 where two or more lens elements are arranged two dimensionally and an original image 20 where a minute inverted image of a reproduced image or a Fourier transform image is recorded or displayed corresponding to individual lens elements composing the lens array. In this case, when a distance from the lens array 10 to the spatial image 40 is expressed by a (m), a distance from the spatial image to an observation position is expressed by b (m), a diopter DL of the lens array 10 is expressed as DI=-1/(a+b), and a diopter DI of the spatial image 40 is expressed as DI=-1/b, a diopter difference|DL-DI|>0.6 should be satisfied as a condition.
