<p>A method is disclosed for forming a multi-tube heat exchanger (1) having a pair of tanks (2, 3) and a plurality of heat transfer tubes (4) fluidly interconnecting the tanks (2, 3). A supporting jig (21) is secured prior to a brazing process to support a tank wall (8) of at least one tank (2) of said pair of tanks (2, 3) to prevent a deflection of said tank wall (8). As a result, a multi-tube heat exchanger (1) which is free from deformation during and after brazing process, can be obtained. <IMAGE></p> |
