PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the step-up efficiency of a step-up circuit. SOLUTION: A step-up circuit is composed of the combination of a voltage transfer circuit 21, a voltage transfer circuit 22 and a capacitor C. The node n1 of the voltage transfer circuit 21 is connected to a power supply voltage VDD and a clock signal∼CLK is supplied to the node n3 of the voltage transfer circuit 21. Further, one of the terminals of the capacitor C is connected to its node n2. A clock signal CLK is supplied to the other terminal of the capacitor C. The node n1 of the voltage transfer circuit 22 is connected to the node n2 of the 1st voltage transfer circuit 21. A step-up voltage is outputted from the node n2 of the voltage transfer circuit 22. The clock signal CLK is supplied to the node n3 of the 2nd voltage transfer circuit 22. Both the nodes n5 of the 1st voltage transfer circuit 21 and the 2nd voltage transfer circuit 22 are connected to a ground voltage GND.
