<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a honeycomb shield panel having excellent mechanical strength in the degree that it does not fall down even if it is extremely thin. SOLUTION: A honeycomb shield panel 1 is formed by superposing many ribbon-like aluminum foils, adhering them at a predetermined pitch and spreading them under tension. Its cell size is 0.25 to 3mm in a dense honeycomb structure. This panel 1 is used by incorporation as part of a pre-filter of an air cleaner to prevent malfunction of neighborhood equipment or adverse influence on human health. And, owing to the dense honeycomb structure, its damage hardly occurs, and its thickness can be sufficiently decreased without impairing its mechanical strength, and hence materials are not bulky, and does not disturb air passage.</p> |
