PRODUCTION OF COLOR COMPOSITION, COLOR COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mass production of a color compsn. in economically excellent and rationalized production processes by using a polyester resin having a specified compsn. as the resin component and kneading a dye with the resin compsn. in a molten state in an extruding machine. SOLUTION: The resin component consists of a polyester resin produced from an aromatic diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component as the main source material. The resin component is supplied to an extruding machine, while a dye sent from an automatic weighing device is supplied to the extruding machine so that the dye is kneaded with the resin component in a molten state and uniformly dispersed or dissolved in the resin component. Then the kneaded material is extruded, cooled and pulverized. Therefore, preliminary mixing of the resin component and the dye in a mixer such as a tumbler or Henschel mixer is not necessary, or fine pulverization of the resin component is not necessary. Thereby, a color compsn., showing good dispersion of the dye which gives an image with uniform tone and density can be obtd. in the production processes which are economically excellent and rationalized and suitable for mass production.
