PIEZOELECTRIC COMPONENT AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric component with high connection reliability where short-circuiting between split electrodes of a piezoelectric element is prevented. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric component where a piezoelectric element 1 using the longitudinal vibration mode is mounted on a mount board 20, a 1st electrode 4 and 2nd electrodes 5a, 5b split by a linear groove 3 extended in the longitudinal direction are provided to one major side of the piezoelectric element 1 and a 3rd electrode 7 is provided to the other major side. Conductive support members 6a-6c are fixed at an interval in the longitudinal direction of a piezoelectric substrate 2 to nodes of the 1st and 2nd electrodes 4, 5a, 5b and the support members 6a-6c are connected and fixed to pattern electrodes 21, 22 of the mount board 20 with conductive adhesives 24, 25.
