PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily composite plural image data by detecting the color information that is not used for the image data and setting the detected color as a system color to automatically set or change the system color. SOLUTION: When the background image data 301 serving as a rough sketch is selected by an input device, the data 301 are called out and displayed. The color information that is not used for the data 301 is detected, and a system color table is produced. Then, the overwrite image data 302 to be patched to the data 301 is selected, and the color information used to the data 302 is detected and the system color table is changed (updated). When only a black part (person) of the data 302 is overwritten and composited by patching, the person is segmented and separated from its background. Then, the data 302 are obtained by assigning a system color to the background part and then the composited image data 304 with the data 301 is obtained. |
