PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal securely a large recording head by a cap. SOLUTION: A recorder is provided with a slider 56 following the movement of a carriage while moving up and down conforming to the movement of the carriage on a cap frame 51 by being pressed by the carriage, a holder 63 energized by a spring 70 and retained by the slider 56 on the outside of both sides of a sealing area of the recording head and a cap 80 stored in the holder 63, and the high aligning properties and stability are secured by the spring 70 outside the sealing face. |
