<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a card reader which enables spatial favorable arrangement, can be arranged with high freedom, and can be assembled easily. SOLUTION: The removable guide arms 5, 6 which are the guide for card insertion are detachably engaged with the housing which accepts a card. The housing 2 includes the projection 13 which engaged with a circuit board, and a housing engaging structure 17 for the engagement with a mating housing. Furthermore, the guide arms 5, 6 have respectively guide arm legs which engages with the housing 2, and the engagement structures 36, 37 for guide arms. A terminal 4 is formed in a suitable shape for electrical connection to a first or to a second circuit board, and in the engagement with the mating electric connector it is fixed to the circuit board by a holder which is inserted to a holder groove 51.</p> |
