PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a corresponding automatic preparation system only by the correction of a format file without executing program change and recompiling for GUI(graphical user interface) and a call back function in the case of additionally changing an window layout for inputting an LSI manufacturing process. SOLUTION: In the case of inputting an LSI manufacturing process by a simulation system 102, a format reading analyzing part 104 selects and reads out the format of one manufacturing process from format data 105 and executes the interpretation of GUI parts and the analysis of a simulator input format or the like. An automatic GUI layout 103 determines GUI parts to be used out of restricted GUI parts based on the analyzed results, automatically calculates coordinates while providing the layout with regularity and displays an input window for the manufacturing process. When the input operation of the GUI is executed, a call back function 106 is accessed, the input data of the GUI are extracted from an window system 101 and converted into the input format of a simulator by a data interface 107 based on the format data and the converted format is transferred to the system 102.
