Electronic devices are surrounded by a housing (10) for protection from external influences. Screws (20), for example, are used as connecting means for the housing parts (12). When the housing parts (12) are screwed together, shavings or other particles are produced which can fall on the electronic device, in particular on a circuit board (14) or sealing means (18) in the interior of the housing (10). These shavings or pieces can then lead to malfunctions of the device. The invention creates a housing (10) for an electronic device which can be easily and reliably screwed together. This is achieved by providing a hole (21) in a base (11) with a protective cylinder (22). |
