PEN INPUT TYPE INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively utilize a pen storage part in a simple structure by detecting the insertion of a pen by using terminals for connection to be in contact with the pen when the pen is inserted to the pen storage part and identifying the pen corresponding to the contact conditions to the pen of the terminals for the connection. SOLUTION: For the pen storage part 10, the insertion port of the pen is provided on the side face part of an information processor main body. A notched part is provided on the inner surface part of the pen storage part 10 and the terminals 12a-12c and 13 for the connection to be in contact with the pen when the pen is inserted from the notched part to the pen storage part 10 are provided. The terminals 12a-12c and 13 for the connection are respectively connected to a pen identification part 14 and the pen identification part 14 identifies the pen corresponding to the contact conditions to the pen of the terminals 12a-12c and 13 for the connection when the pen is inserted to the pen storage part 10. A control part 16 controls the information processor main body corresponding to the kind of the pen identified by the pen identification part 14.
