A coupling device for one end of a coaxial cable (1) has an internal split taper socket (9) which is pushed on to the end of the cable. To fix the cable there are two spli t taper sockets (9, 10) which each have opposing clamping surfaces (17, 23) which clamp an exter nal conductor (2) between them. On the internal socket there are several elastic clamping par ts (15) located behind a continuous forward edge (36), which extend radially, and which are dist ributed around the circumference. The clamping parts are located in the pocket-shaped recessed (13) of the internal socket (9). |
