The present invention provides a computerized system and method for continuously managing and controlling a personal computer entertainment system which allow a user to easily make interactions with his/her computer entertainment system without having to try and learn how to use it for hours. Th e system and method automatically control the computer entertainment system with all powered-up peripherals connected thereto, on a 24 hour a day basis, and also self-resume providing that control after an indefinite interruption of powe r. The personal computer entertainment system is essentially for use in conjunction with a conventional television set, and a wireless remote keyboard user interfac e, allowing for the personal computer entertainment system to be used by anyone in a lounge room.
