摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a route containing a jammed repeating line from being selected and to improve communication efficiency by setting the priority of route selection to be higher for the route having the shorter transmission delay time of the repeating line contained in the respective routes when plural routes exist for transmitting a signal from a self-station to the other exchange station. SOLUTION: A packet repeating exchange station A transmits an information collection packet for investigating the jammed degree of the repeating lines 41-4N to adjacent packet repeating exchange stations B-N and receives information of the repeating line which is directly connected to the packet repeating exchange stations B-N as a return packet. A repeating line transmission state investigation part 1 extracts information for the respective repeating lines from the return packet. A control part 3 calculates the sum of transmission delay time on all the routes and rewrites a route selection table which a repeating line information storage part 2 stores. Thus, frequency for selecting the route whose transmission delay time is long and whose communication efficiency is inferior is reduced.</p>
