PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the reduction of recording paper by selectively attaining recording on one side or both sides by providing a one-side recording function for recording an original only one side of recording paper and a double-side recording function for recording the original on the front side of recording paper for odd-numbered pages and recording it on the rear side for even-numbered pages. SOLUTION: Based on an instruction from an operating part 23, an image recording part 27 records the original on the front side of recording paper through the one-side recording function or records the odd-numbered original on the front side of recording paper and records the even-numbered original on the rear side through the double-side recording function. Double-side recording is provided by providing configuration for installing recorders on both the sides of recording paper and selectively operating them or a device for inverting the recording paper to the front side and rear side. At such a time, original data are transmitted between transmission side facsimile equipment and reception side facsimile equipment by prescribed signals and procedures. Thus, when printing out the received original, double-side recording can be selected, the number of pieces of recording paper to be used can be decreased by half and costs for recording paper can be reduced. |
