PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthesis method for characters and the image where an inserted image is synthesized with the area in which an image read from the original of a customer even in the case generating a post card with a print image on which characters and an image are synthesized by the low resolution digital photo printer of a digital print system, jaggy of edges of the characters is not observed so as to be the characters which are smooth, natural and acquainted with a background read image and the characters with preferred thickness and the background image are synthesized naturally and smoothly. SOLUTION: In the case of generating digital synthesis image data to provide the output of a print image where characters and an image are synthesized, anti-alias processing is applied to the characters and the image, after the thickness of the characters is adjusted preferably, the obtained characters and images are converted into 3-primary-color digital character image data. The obtained 3-primary-color digital character image data and 3-primary-color digital background image data are synthesized while being acquainted with each other. |
