PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller which has a uniform and smooth surface, and is excellent in dimensional accuracy, by forming the formed product inside a metal mold without passing through a polishing process after demolding. SOLUTION: A conductive roller is made up of a turning shaft, and a foam conductive elastic layer concentrically laminated around the turning shaft; and the foam conductive elastic layer consists of polyurethane obtained by reacting a polyol component and an isocyanate component; and the conductive roller is a molded body that is obtained by pouring a mixed liquid containing the polyol component and the isocyanate component into the metal mold in the center of which the turning shaft has been arranged, so that it is reacted and hardened. The rate of the density of the molded product forming the foam conductive elastic layer and the density of that when the mixed liquid is foamed in the state that there is no restraint, or the ratio of the density of molded product to the density of free foam body is made to be 1.5 to 4.0. |
