PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydraulic fluid composition capable of simultaneously attaining good abrasion resistance and friction characteristic and useful for suspensions of automobiles by using lecithin as an additive. SOLUTION: This hydraulic fluid composition includes (B) lecithin in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.% based on total amount of composition into (A) base oil comprising a mineral oil (e.g. paraffin-based mineral oil) and/or a synthetic oil (e.g. poly-α-olefin). Furthermore, crude soybean lecithin, etc., is preferably used as the component B and an antioxidant such as a phenolic compound, an ash-free cleansing disperse agent such as fatty acid amide, a metal- inactivating agent such as thiazole, a deforming agent such as dimethylpolysiloxane are preferably used as additives. |
