PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily obtain the subject part that is saved in costs, improved in machinability and useful for trocoid oil pump by forming abrasive sliding part on the outer periphery of the flexible base. SOLUTION: A starting powder composed of flexible and inexpensive material is compressed to form the first powder-compressed body for base part 14. Then, the first powder-compressed body is coated with an abrasive metal alloy powdery material on its outer surface and compressed to form the second powder- compressed body for the sliding layer and the first and the second powder- compressed bodies are simultaneously sintered to bind them integrally. In a preferred embodiment, the compression pressure for the second powder- compressed body is set higher than that for the first one to increase the density of the second powder-compressed body higher that that of the first powder- compressed body. |
