PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new oligonucleotide useful as a primer for detecting a Bacillus cereus, targeting a nucleic acid sequence encoding 16SrRNA of Bacillus cereus, containing a spcified base sequence chemically synthesized so as to be complementary to the sequence. SOLUTION: This new bligonucleotide is one targeting a nucleotide sequence encoding 16SrRNA of Bacillus cereus and chemically synthesized so as to be complementary to the nucleotide sequence, is composed of the maximum 29 bases containing a base sequence of the formula and is useful as a primer for a PCR method when Bacillus cereus is detected in clinical examination, chemical examination, etc. The oligonucleotide is obtained by chemically synthesizing a base sequence complementary to a sequence part specific to Bacillus cereus in a nucleotide sequence encoding 16SrRNA of Bacillus cereus. |
