PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the design of a nonbulky electric circuit capable of obtaining an electrical contact state with a SED roll in a split electrode developing(SED) unit. SOLUTION: In the split electrode developing unit, a high-voltage circuit 34 and a low-voltage circuit which are required are all arranged on a printed flexible circuit 32 and it is folded to form a cylindrical circuit The end part of the SED roll 84 is inserted into the cylindrical circuit and plural output terminals (pins) 52 formed on the cylindrical circuit are connected to electrodes 82 on the SED roll 84 respectively.
