PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin molded product, capable of retaining performances of a resin such as heat insulating properties and easy moldability and excellent in fire properties, especially shape retaining properties at the time of combustion and useful as a building material, etc., by including a specific inorganic material in the resin. SOLUTION: This resin molded product is obtained by including 30-90 wt.%, preferably 40-80 wt.%, especially preferably 55-70 wt.% inorganic material such as a metallic hydroxide, a metallic carbonate, a silicic acid compound, glass fibers, glass balloons, silas (pumiceous sand) balloons, etc., (especially preferably calcium carbonate) in a thermoplastic resin (preferably a vinyl chloride-based resin such as vinyl chloride resin or a vinyl chloride copolymer) or a thermosetting resin (e.g. a phenol resin or an epoxy resin), then kneading the resultant mixture and carrying out extrusion molding, injection molding or pressurized compression molding. The resultant resin molded product has 0.7-2.0 g/cm<3> , preferably 0.7-1.4 g/cm<3> density and the pore distribution ratio of pores having <=10μm pore diameter is 25-70 vol.%, preferably 25-65 vol.%.
