<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a simple and sure fire extinguishing system by arranging an ampule type fire extinguisher burst by heat at the time of a fire and scattering a fire extinguishing agent on a hopper chamber collecting dust, and normally protecting the fire extinguisher from external force by a protective member. SOLUTION: An ampule type fire extinguisher 17 is arranged on the ceiling wall 12 of a hopper chamber 8 by a bracket 16, metal caps are covered at both ends of a glass container, and a fire extinguishing agent is sealed in the container. The fire extinguishing agent is expanded by heat at the time of a fire, the container is burst by its expansion pressure, and the fire extinguishing agent is scattered in the hopper chamber 8. Pins protruded from the caps are inserted into the slits of the bracket 16 to removably support the fire extinguisher 17, and the fire extinguisher 17 can be easily replaced when its life expires. A protective member 20 protecting the fire extinguisher 17 from external force is arranged on the ceiling wall 12 to prevent the fire extinguisher from being damaged by scattered objects or discharged dust. When the fire breaks out in the hopper chamber 8, the fire extinguisher 27 is surely operated, and the fire can be automatically extinguished.</p> |
