PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen blowing coal gasification combined generator, capable of effectively utilizing nitrogen gas obtained as a byproduct. SOLUTION: This generating set gasifies fuel such as coal together with oxygen in a gasification furnace 5 to produce fuel gas and then burns the fuel gas in a gas turbine 8 in order to use if for power generation. An air separator 34 is also provided for separating pure nitrogen from the air and for supplying the remaining air constituents to the gasification furnace 5. In addition, after that nitrogen is separated by the air separator 34, an oxygen supply line 25 is provided for feeding a part of the remaining air constituents to a combustor 8a of a gas turbine 8.
