PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost post-processing device which can generate inversion without a risk of damaging a sheet of paper and can be embodied compactly so that it does not require any significant place for installation. SOLUTION: A post-processing device of an image forming device M is composed of a passing route 13 via which each sheet exhausted from the device M is received by a lead-in part 10 and exhausted directly to the exhaust part 9a, an inclined inversion tray 23 which is located right under the passing route 13, inclined with the exhaust part 9b positioned higher, and equipped with a sheet stopper 24 at the end lower, a sheet transporting means 30 to send out the sheet on the tray 23 to the exhaust part 9b, a branch route 22 to send the sheet to the tray 23 from midway of the route 13, and a changeover gate 48 which changes over from the route 13 to the branch 22 or vice versa, wherein the intrusion angleαwhen the sheet fed from the branch route 22 contacts with the tray 23 should be set to an acute angle, and it is arranged so that the leading edge of the sheet is guided by the inclination of the try 23 to cause flowing from the high place to the low.
