PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a marine living thing even in the case of branched piping by joining a discharge part to a sea water main pipe through which sea water flows and installing it to a branched pipe having a joint part with the sea water main pipe at one end and a closure part at other end at a position spaced apart from the joint part with the sea water main pipe. SOLUTION: In order to wash a detection pipe 19 and a detection seat 16 with hot water a water extraction system 11 for supplying hot water is connected to the detection pipe 19 together with a solenoid valves 24, 25 by use of a T joint. A discharge part to the detection pipe 19 of the water extraction system 11 is installed at a position spaced apart from a main pipe 14. Installation is carried out between joining parts of main solenoid valves 22, 23 with the main pipe 14. The solenoid valves 24, 25 can be shut off so as to prevent sea water from flowing into the water extraction system 11 during time other than the time of supplying hot water to the water extraction system 11. Connection during ordinary time causes the hot water to flow in a direction from the discharge part to the main pipe 14 and clean waste water after removal of juvenile shellfish and microorganisms is made to flow into the main pipe 14 of a sea water system. By this method a pipe for allowing discharged hot water to flow is not necessary to be installed. |
