<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input device which can easily perform inputting by reducing picture switching operation. SOLUTION: An input discrimination part 2 discriminates the contents of input due to a user from an input part 1 and a character code output part 3 outputs a character code corresponding to a key inputted based on a code table part 4. Based on the current state of keyboard or the information at a data storage part 6 and an input object discrimination part 8, a table change part 5 changes contents in the code table part 4. Corresponding to the keyboard switching operation of user, a keyboard switching part 9 acquires keys consisting of the keyboard and character code or font data corresponding to these keys and based on these data, a display part 7 changes the indication of keyboard.</p> |
