<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected wire break due to excessive reaction to transient over voltage of a fuse function element, and protect over voltage in a protected circuit. SOLUTION: An input side of an over current protection fuse function element 5 arranged between a power source E, and a protected circuit P is connected to a side of a common terminal 4 through a varistor element 7. When surge voltage leads to an input 2, the varistor element 7 is immediately conducted, and a current by the surge voltage is almost prevented from flowing in the fuse function element 5, so as to flow in the common terminal from the input. As a result, wire breaking of the fuse function element 5 by excessive reaction to the surge voltage is impeded, and the protected circuit P is protected from over voltage by absorbing over voltage by the varistor element 7.</p> |
