PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cap that has a coating film excellent in tight adhesion to both a PVC compound and a PET film, and superior in workability and water resistance, and that has good sealing properties. SOLUTION: This coating composition, is used for coating a PET-laminated metal sheet and contains 10-70 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin (A) and 30-90 pts.wt. polyester resin (B) having a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000 to 30,000, a hydroxyl number of 1-30 mg KOH/g and a glass transition temperature of 5-70 deg.C, the total of components A and B being 100 pts.wt., 1-20 pts.wt. amino resin (C), and if necessary, 0-2.0 pts.wt. acid catalyst (D) and 0-30 pts.wt. epoxy resin (E). The coated PET-laminated metal sheet has a coating film of this composition. The cap is made by forming and working this metal sheet into a cap form in such a manner that the coated surface is on the inside and lining the inside coating film with a PVC compound. |
