PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable condition steering device having variable steering angle ratio and variable operation reaction force characteristic suited for an operating condition of a driver. SOLUTION: A variable condition steering device is constituted by having a steering system drive means 1 changing angle ratio of an angle of steering 2 operated by a driver to a front wheel steering angle and an operating reaction force variable means 3 changing operating reaction force of steering operated by the driver. Here, this constitution has an operating angle detection mans 5 detecting relative difficulty of operation from an operating condition of the driver, right hand counter clockwise direction operating force detection means 6a, right hand clockwise direction operating force detection means 6b, left hand counter clockwise direction operating force detection means 7a, and a left hand clockwise direction operating force detection means 7b, in accordance with relative difficulty of the detected operation, to automatically change angle ratio of an angle of the steering 2 to a front wheel steering angle and operating reaction force of the steering 2. |
