The mount comprises two frame halves and the transparency slides into the mount from one edge. One of the frame halves has two profiled ridge guides (5,6) which guide the transparency into position. The guides have an initial section (7) at a wide spacing and a final section (9) at the optimum spacing. Sloping sections (8) join the two ends of the guides.The input sections of the guides are spaced at least 2 mm further apart than the required spacing. The transparency is fed into the mount via the wider section while still attached to the remainder of the film. Partially into the mount the transparency is cut off from the film and is slid fully into the mount, aligning itself between the closer spaced guide sections
