PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent stability and durability by containing a compound having two or more groups, in total, which are selected from aromatic ring groups each having an aldehyde group as a substituent and from amide groups, an alkali-soluble macromolecular compound and a compound which suppresses the alkali-solubility of this compound and is decomposed by light or heat. SOLUTION: A radiant-ray-sensitive composition contains, in its constitution, a compound having two or more groups selected from aromatic ring groups each having, as a substituent, an aldehyde group which facilitates an interaction of an alkali-soluble macromolecular compound and a compound being decomposed by light or heat and amplifies an effect of suppressing dissolution and from amide groups, the alkali-soluble macromolecular compound and the compound which suppresses the alkali-solubility of the alkali-soluble macromolecular compound and is decomposed by light or heat. The compound suppressing the alkali-solubility and being decomposed by light or heat loses the function of suppressing the alkali-solubility of the alkali-soluble macromolecular compound by being decomposed by light or heat. Then an exposure part is made soluble to a developer by generation of an acid and an image is formed on a printing plate. |
