摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat having a low frictional front surface and high frictional rear surface, in which the mat itself comes in close contact with the surface of a mat table and has no danger of developing creases, and further, articles to be put on the mat can be slid thereon. SOLUTION: The mat is formed such that each of a number of synthetic polymer continuous stripes having a diameter of about 0.5-2 mm extends in the longitudinal direction while being kinked and crossed mutually, and adhered at respective crossed points so as to form a plane gauze-like item, and its rear surface is made of a high frictional plane gauze-like item with a frictional resistance value of 20 kgf or more and its front surface is made of a lower frictional plane item 2 with a frictional resistance value of 10 kgf or lower, both of which are flattened by compressing this. The measuring method is so effected that a 15×15 specimen of the mat is placed on a specular plate glass put on the horizontal surface in a manner making its surface to be measured a lower surface, a 16×16 cm, 120 g weight synthetic resin plate is fixed thereon to then have a 20 kg weight placed thereon before compression, then a tether is put to the end of the synthetic resin plate so that the tether is pulled in the extension direction of the glass surface at a speed of 2.0 cm/min, thus, allowing a tension (kgf) at, the initial movement of the specimen to be a frictional resistance value.
