PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase gas turbine output by changing a boiler exhaust gas composition, in a method for increasing the gas turbine output of a system in which the gas turbine and steam turbine of a pressurized fluidized bed composite power generating system are combined with each other. SOLUTION: Power generation is executed in a manner that steam is supplied from a pressurized fluidized bed boiler 1 to a steam turbine 21 through a main steam piping system 30 so as to drive a high pressure turbine, returned to the pressurized fluidized bed boiler 1, reheated and led to flow from a reheat steam piping system 31 to the steam turbine 21 so as to drive a low pressure turbine. While, power generation is so performed that air is supplied from a compressor 16 to the pressurized fluidized bed boiler 1 so as to perform coal and fluidized bed combustion, and exhaust gas from the boiler 1 drives a gas turbine 15 through a dust collector 14. Low temperature reheat steam is extracted in a steam extracting piping system, entrapped into an air supply system to the boiler 1 so as to rise its temperature in the boiler 1, and supplied together with exhaust gas to the gas turbine 15 through the dust collector 14. Steam has a large specific heat capacity therefore, a flow is increased and the output of the gas turbine 15 is increased.
