PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a mounting property of a device on an engine by miniaturizing the device and to improve control precision of valve timing. SOLUTION: This control device interposes a disc housing 39 and a ring disc 38 supported free to rotate through a needle bearing 30 on an inner periphery of the disc housing 39 between first and second flange parts 33 provided facing against a drive shaft and a camshaft. A working angle of a valve is changed by eccentrically moving the ring disc 38 against a shaft center of the drive shaft by vertically moving the disc housing 39. A pair of left and right projected parts 44 is projectively provided on one end surface 39b of the disc housing 39, a support ring 40 is provided free to rotate on an outer peripheral surface 33b of the second flange part, the projected parts 44 are fitted on both outside surfaces 40a, 40a of this support ring, and the disc housing 39 is supported on the second flange part 33 free to vertically move.
