PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical fiber probe having high light transmission efficiency and high resolution. SOLUTION: An optical fiber probe having a sharpened part 1 constituted of three taper faces 2, 3, 4 of different inclination is manufactured, by a clad slanting process forming a slanting part on one end of the clad of the optical fiber extending from the outer circumference to the inner circumference, a first sharpening process projecting one end of a core from the clad by etching and sharpening the one end into a conical shape, and a second sharpening process sharpening the one end of the core conically sharpened by changing the inclination into two steps by etching. |
