PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition excellent in thixotropy and applicability by compounding a saturated hydrocarbon type polymer having a hydroxyl or hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom and a silicon-containing group crosslinkable by forming a siloxane bond, calcium carbonate with its surface treated with a fatty acid or the like, and a glass balloon. SOLUTION: A saturated hydrocarbon type polymer (100 pts.wt.), calcium carbonate with the surface treated with a fatty acid, a resin acid or a fatty acid ester (30-200 pts.wt.) and a glass balloon (1-30 pts.wt., preferably 1-5 pts.wt.) are compounded to obtain a sealing material composition. As a saturated hydrocarbon type polymer is preferable a compound of the formula (wherein (m) and (n) are each 0-20; and 1<=m+n<=20). The amount of the surface treatment of calcium carbonate is 1-10 wt.% based on calcium carbonate and the glass balloon has an average particle size of 10-200μm and an average particle density of 0.1-0.6 g/cc.
