FIELD: chemistry of polymers, more particularly polymeric compositions and adhesive coatings. SUBSTANCE: linear block copolymers prepared by block copolymerization of vinyl aromatic and diene monomers are characterized in that diene blocks are partially hydrogenated and then completely epoxidated. Said block copolymers are determined by formula: <EMI ID=0.448 HE=6 WI=72 TI=CHI> wherein A<SB>1</SB> and A<SB>2</SB> are vinyl aromatic blocks; HT is cross-linking copolymer segment consisting of vinyl aromatic and diene fragments and containing 0-20% based on weight of whole polymer unsaturated states of said cross-linking copolymer are partially hydrogenated and then completely epoxidated: (E<SB>1</SB>-B<SB>1</SB>-EPOX<SB>1</SB>) and (E<SB>2</SB>-B<SB>2</SB>-EPOX<SB>2</SB>) are essentially ethylene-butene block copolymers comprising 1,4-cis and 1,4-trans epoxy fragments formed by epoxidation of some unsaturated states and containing 1-20% based on amount of original unsaturated states. Said block copolymers contain 50-90% based on weight of whole copolymer, weight ratio between (E<SB>1</SB>-B<SB>1</SB>-EPOX<SB>1</SB>) and (E<SB>2</SB>-B<SB>2</SB>-EPOX<SB>2</SB>) varies from 0.1 to 1.0, and molecular weight of block copolymers of corresponding formula varies from 30,000 to 200,000.
